Are you interested or interesting. Where do you tend towards?. Being interesting through being engaging, humorous and the centre of attention or by being interested through listening and finding out about other people. Powerful and positive first impressions come from balancing both.

Consider this. Do you dress for the job you’ve come from, the job you’re in now or the job you want to go to? Always dress and present yourself for the next job you want to go to.

The most important questions to ask yourself when preparing a presentation is what do I want my audience to go away and say, think, feel and do as a result of listening to me.

Deliver an outstanding presentation by using your imagination to create the result you want. See what you want to see, hear what you want to hear and feel what you want to feel as you deliver an outstanding presentation. Remember almost all top athletes and performers use at least 50% of their training time in visualising the huge success they want. If it’s good enough for them it’s probably good enough for us

Charisma is about presence and positivity. That comes in part from your state of mind and what you think about. Remind yourself of your achievements. Consider achievements from all areas of your life. What three things have you achieved in the last year that you are most proud of?

Energy and enthusiasm are core qualities in demonstrating Charisma. Do you have enough fun in your life? Identify sources of enjoyment fun and laughter and double the number of times a week you do those activities.

Identify your comfort zone and stay out of it. To maintain and grow a healthy and fulfilling life, change and challenge are key. What is the one thing that if you did it right now would make the biggest positive difference to your confidence?. NOW is a great time to take action.

Fulfilment in life comes from many things one key to consider. “Every man must decide whether he will walk in the light of creative altruism or in the darkness of destructive selfishness. Life’s most persistent and urgent question is – What am I doing for others?” Martin Luther King.

Consider this. “A genius is a talented person who does his homework” – Thomas Edison. Remember managers require, leaders inspire. To inspire the most important homework any leader can do is on how his people tick and what really motivates them.

Leaders remain calm and balanced under pressure. Think of a work situation that’s causing concern or anxiety. Conduct a perspective audit by asking “How important will this issue be in five years time or even 5 months time?”
